Q: Why does our school need recognition awards?
A: Every single child needs to be recognised for their contribution, struggle, achievements and perseverance. Every child needs to feel they have achieved something and deserve recognition for the effort they make, even if it’s not worth an A+. Recognition rewards go a long way in encouraging both academic achievements and positive behaviour. Scientific research indicates that recognition has a very positive impact not only on children’s self-esteem but also on the general emotional well-being of their families.
Q: How do your recognition awards differ from other offers?
A: We offer a one of a kind set of wearable recognition awards which are specifically tailored to the elementary school curriculum. It contains more than 30 types of awards which cover academic subjects, learning skills, character traits, and school activities. They could be easily incorporated into school rewards program. The great variety and affordability of the awards allow you to make sure that by the end of the school year every student gets an award. No one should be left out! And you can always choose only those awards which fit into your school rewards program.
Q: Why wristbands?
A: The most widely used forms of recognition awards in elementary schools are certificates, trophies, and medals. For all of them, students get 15 minutes of fame during the award ceremony after which awards are displayed at home or just collect dust in drawers. In contrast, wristbands could be worn at school allowing students to display awards for the world and peers to see! Also, they are much cheaper than trophies and medals so that even giving an award to every student in the school remains an affordable option. Moreover, for orders placed by accredited schools, we happily allow payment after delivery.
Q: Are your wristbands safe?
A: All our wristbands are made of 100% silicone rubber. Silicone has no known health hazards, it is eco-friendly and recyclable.
Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: You can pay via credit card, cheque, or PayPal account. For orders placed by accredited schools, we allow payments via invoice after delivery. After the product is delivered, you can pay via credit card, cheque, or PayPal account.
Q: Which size should I order?
A: Our three standard sizes are 160 mm (6.3 inches), 180 mm (7.1 inches) and 200 mm (7.9 inches) in circumference. Standard width is 12 mm (1/2 inch). In our experience, 160 mm tends to work well for Kindergarten, 180 mm for most kids, and 200 mm for Grade 8. If you have a wide age range and prefer the simplicity of one size, 180 mm tends to be the most versatile – although there is truly no “one size fits all”. Q: Why is the colour of the actual wristbands is not exactly the same as on the product pictures?
A: The colours of the wristbands as shown are approximate and will differ on each computer monitor. We use PANTONE ® colour number as standard colours.
